Hog Roast Whetstone Is Here To Make Your Christmas Special!

Hog Roast WhetstoneThe biggest holiday season of the year is right around the corner, which means the Hog Roast Whetstone team have been working harder than Santa’s elves to help our customers and clients prepare for their upcoming celebrations!

From classic winter markets and office shindigs to family parties, school dances and beyond, our diary is looking mighty exciting (and busy!) over the coming weeks. So, if you’re keen to hire us for an event you’ve got planned, be sure to get in touch with our team as soon as possible to avoid missing out.

We recently spoke to Claire, who has asked us to help her out by serving our splendid Festive Menu to her family on Christmas Eve. She let us know that this year is actually Claire’s first time ever hosting a dinner party, let alone a Christmas dinner party, so she was feeling a little out of her depth before discovering Hog Roast Whetstone.

Having worked with nervous customers before, our catering manager, Alex, was able to put Claire’s mind at ease very quickly by listening to her goals for the event and offering suggestions based on her responses. For Claire, our team’s attention to detail and commitment to her as a customer was very reassuring and has made her feel much more confident about hosting her party next month.

A lot of Claire’s fears stemmed from her guest’s fussy appetites. Confiding in Alex, the client expressed her concern that some of her guests wouldn’t enjoy the food. But once Alex explained that Hog Roast Whetstone’s menus are fully customisable and can also include vegetarian/vegan choices, her fears began to dissipate.

Hog Roast WhetstoneTogether, Claire and Alex have come up with the perfect menu for her event, which will begin with a moist and tender turkey dinner with homemade sage and onion stuffing and cranberry sauce, paired with pigs in blankets, cauliflower cheese, glazed seasonal veg, roast potatoes and gravy. The feast will also include a vegan-friendly option of BBQ-pulled jackfruit and will end with our traditional mince pies with warm brandy cream and non-alcoholic mulled wine.

Knowing that some of her guests aren’t keen on the traditional Christmas pud, Hog Roast Whetstone will also be serving chocolate torte and profiteroles with additional refreshments provided by Claire. And, as an added extra, we’ve been asked to prepare a selection of canapes and a charcuterie board for the guests to nibble on throughout the event.

Claire can’t wait to see this inclusive menu for herself and has already told her family to expect great things this Christmas!
