Hog Roast Islington – Looking for Something Spicy for your 2025 Events?

Hog Roast IslingtonAt Hog Roast Islington we are known for our comfort dining. That is what roast dining is, after all. Sheer comfort in food form. That’s why we all love a good Sunday roast in the UK, especially during the colder months (which is most of them) when we just need a bit of added warmth and comfort. The roast is just perfect for that, and our signature hog roast is little different, even if it is made in a more lavish and stylish manner.

But as your bespoke caterer, we are more than capable of upping the heat and bringing the spice where needed! It may not sound like comfort dining, but sometimes an event just needs spiced up a little, and our American inspired Southern Slow Roast menu certainly brings the heat!

The “cookout” style of roast and barbecue dining is one favoured in the hotter southern states. It’s a great tradition that brings together a lot of smoky and spicy flavours. You might find in the States that a host will cook the main meats while guests will contribute with their own accompaniments to create one big massive feast for all to enjoy. With our Southern Slow Roast we have encapsulated that feasting feeling, only the Hog Roast Islington chefs are doing all of the cooking for you!

Hog Roast IslingtonMarinated with Hog Roast Islington very own secret spice rubs, you have some incredible “all American” options such as BBQ Pork Butt, Cajun Spiced Whole Chickens, Texan 24-Hour Beef Brisket, Louisiana Stick Pork Ribs, and Pulled Quarter of Minted Lamb. Each are roasted low and slow much like our hog roast for that added tenderness and flavour, and each comes packing with aromatic flavour from our smoky and spicy rubs! For added heat, you could also add our selections of hot sauces and tangy or smoky BBQ sauces!

Of course there is still a comfort factor to be had in the Southern Slow Roast, too. Usually this comes in the form of the sides, such as our creamy mash and potato salads, our classic mac and cheese, our buttered corn cobettes, mixed fries, and zesty salads and crunchy Memphis style slaws.

It’s a different way to dine for your events, but it may be just your flavour in 2025!
