Courtney ushered in her 30s with a bang over the weekend, opting for an unconventional and exhilarating celebration – an escape room challenge! Split into teams of 5, the group of 30 guests embarked on a race against the clock, solving puzzles and unravelling mysteries, setting the stage for an unforgettable birthday bash.
After the pulse-pounding escape room adventure, the party continued the celebrations at a private rooftop terrace, which boasted dramatic views of the city’s finest landmarks. The birthday girl had arranged for an evening of elegance and indulgence, and Hog Roast Finsbury was honoured to be part of the festivities.
As the group ascended to the stunning rooftop location, they were greeted by the irresistible aromas of Hog Roast Finsbury’s Hog Roast Dining Menu. Catering manager Dohnis and his dedicated team had spent the entire afternoon preparing a feast fit for the occasion. The menu featured two mouth-watering meat options: 6 oz BBQ British handmade beef burgers, topped with melting cheese and served on gluten-free buns, and a crowd-pleasing hog roast with crackling, sage and onion stuffing, and applesauce accompaniments. For the vegetarian guests, a colourful and delicious alternative was provided in the form of grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers with wraps, tzatziki dip, and a zestful sweet chilli sauce.
The Hog Roast Finsbury spread continued with farm-fresh salads and garlic and rosemary-roasted new potatoes, adding layers of flavour and variety to the menu. As the guests savoured each bite, they couldn’t help but appreciate the delicious food while gazing out over the cityscape.
The cosy terrace provided the perfect backdrop for the celebration, and as the guests sank their teeth into the delicious offerings and created cherished memories together, a cocktail artist showed off his mixology skills by presenting the group with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks based on their earlier escape room experience, which nicely tied the whole celebration together.
