Hog Roast Euston– Marking the Big 50 with a Hog Roast!

EustonAging is one of those things we often all try to not admit to. You start to get toward 50 and you try desperately to claw back the years as best we can – even going as far as lying about your age when asked, in many cases. But when 50 does come around sometimes you just have to accept it and even celebrate it. It’s 50! It’s a landmark, so make the most of it while you are there. Step into the second half of your life full of celebration and joy, rather than regret at the time gone by!

Fortunately that was very much the thinking of Lorna, our Hog Roast Euston customer of the week at the weekend. Taking the big five zero in stride, Lorna put together a massive birthday bash to say hello to the next era in her life with style and class! She invited out just about everyone she knows, amounting to a whopping 125 guests in all. With so many mouths to feed and a party to host, Lorna turned to the best place she knows for her catering: Hog Roast Euston!

EustonWe’re no strangers to a good 50th. We have a couple in the team that would perhaps not like to be reminded of theirs, but they bring to the team plenty of years of wisdom that help events like Lorna’s come off all the better. With 125 guests to feed, we thought a hog roast buffet was the best thing to make sure everyone had plenty to eat while not interrupting the dancing and celebrations all too much. After all, when it came to the dancefloor it was certainly difficult to get Lorna off it, other than when time was called for her favourite hog roast buffet to begin!

We had a fresh selection of our hog and beef roasts, crackling, stuffing, mini-Yorkshire puddings, along with fresh veg skewers, mini burgers, sausages, salads, slaws, fries and potato salad, and a selection of both regular and gluten-free rolls and wraps to mop everything up with! With all that, you can celebrate a 50th the right way, as Lorna certainly did. If she had even half as much fun as the Hog Roast Euston team did, then we know that it must have been a good night in all!
