For any company, whether it be a family-owned business or a single premises on a corporate chain, celebrating the date you first opened your doors to the public is important. These anniversaries are a big deal as they give owners and staff the chance to reflect on the business’s achievements and set goals for the future.
Parties and open days are among the most popular methods of celebrating these milestones since they encourage customers, clients and staff to relax and enjoy each other’s company. And as one of the area’s favourite catering services, Hog Roast Chase Side is often hired to help with these kinds of events, like last week when we visited Janice’s workplace after being asked to serve our Classic Hog Roast Menu at her business’s 10th-anniversary party!
After hearing from Janice that her business had experienced some lows in the last few years due to the pandemic, but that it has since made a huge comeback, Hog Roast Chase Side’s caterers were determined to give the client and her staff an unforgettable experience to help celebrate their resilience. We were ecstatic to be the ones chosen for this booking, and on the day of the party, our team arrived at the venue with plenty of time to spare before the shutters rolled up.
Using our trusty grill, Hog Roast Chase Side’s crew rustled up a sumptuous spit-roasted pig with crackling, stuffing, applesauce and sides of mixed fries and fresh salads. They also set out a basket of gluten-free and wholemeal rolls and wraps alongside a row of condiments and dips. Their final task included chopping red onions, peppers and courgettes for the grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, which were served to the non-meat-eating guests.
The food was truly exceptional, and with lots of variety to pick from, the guests, which included lots of Janice’s regular customers, certainly didn’t struggle to find something tasty to munch on! Janice was over the moon with Hog Roast Chase Side’s service and thanked our team profusely for all of their help in making her company’s 10-year anniversary a day to remember. Here’s to the next 10 years!
