With the summer solstice just past (and a record breaking heatwave joining along with it) we are officially in the thick of the summer wedding season here at Hog Roast Muswell Hill. But what does that actually mean?
Ask any caterer and they will tell you very similar: the wedding season is the best season for any caterer, rivalled only by Christmas – especially where a caterer specialising in roast dining like Hog Roast Muswell Hill is concerned. With the wedding season comes a glut of extravagant dining requests that take our teams out to some of the most exquisite venues the country has to offer. Here we often cook for hundreds of guests at a time, and the dining experience has to be in the very top echelon of quality, often with a good degree of added luxury and extravagance added into the experience to truly make it a special day.
But the wedding season is not solely about the wedding days themselves. At Hog Roast Muswell Hill, our wedding season goes well beyond the actual dining events as our teams also use the season to put our services further afield for this year and the next (and possible even further beyond). It’s typical at this time of year for some of the aforementioned venues to also host their own wedding fair events over a weekend, inviting both the public and private businesses like ours to join at their venue for one almighty celebration of all things weddings. These are events that the Hog Roast Muswell Hill team will come out to with the intent of showing off our wedding services to prospective customers and taking up massive lists of wedding dates to come in the years beyond. Even when we’re not conducting our wedding catering directly, we’re still working the wedding industry to make ourselves even busier in future seasons!
