Hog Roast Whetstone – A Golden Ring and a Golden Roast

Weddings are something of a speciality for us here at Hog Roast Whetstone. It is well known in the catering business that weddings tend to be the pinnacle of catered dining. Expectations are always high from all when it comes to wedding dinners; a bridge and groom will want the best of the best for their first meal together as a married couple, and guests have expectations for high class dining with quality in every course and the highly stylish service to match. That is precisely what we at Hog Roast Whetstone provide to weddings and then some.

The dinner time experience of a wedding is core to the whole event, so you want to ensure that you are going with a caterer that can meet that pressure. With a better dining experience your whole wedding is uplifted that extra but more and leaves guests very satisfied with the whole day. That means extending the bounds of catering beyond just putting a meal on the table.

Hog Roast Whetstone One example of which could be seen in our recently attended wedding in Whetstone as the Hog Roast Whetstone provided our canapés and formal dining service for Sharon and Daniel’s wedding. Long-time local customers of ours, Sharon and Daniel foresaw there being a lot of down time for guests immediately after the wedding service, and so while they were out getting photos done guests were welcomed into the reception with a welcome drink and canapés were circulated around the room by our service team. The service team handed out mini beef fillets, fresh salmon wedges on brown bread and cracked with black pepper and lemon juice, mini quiches and Indian snack selections, roasted duck spring rolls and roasted halloumi and tomato crostini’s, while also topping up drinks to ensure that each and every guest was well attended to.

In the meantime our chefs cooked our hog roast, a favourite of Dan and Sharon’s, in time for dinner. Dinner began with starter’s of Scottish Smoked Salmon or Homemade Soup with Crusty Bread served to tables, and the main course was served buffet style with our chefs carving up our hog roast and lamb roast to then be served with lavish amounts of buttered new potatoes or roasted baby potatoes, homemade coleslaw, seasonal mixed veg, heritage tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad.  A golden roast dinner for an incredible day!

From all at Hog Roast Whetstone we wish Daniel and Sharon the very best and look forward to seeing them again at future events!
