The months during the transition from spring into summer is the most popular period for weddings- hence the name ‘wedding season’! The weather warms up, the heat becomes more reliable, and the sun is shining in the sky. Altogether this forms a wonderful wedding backdrop and creates an incredible atmosphere for your vows and celebration. Summer weddings can be catered formally or informally, with the meal taking place indoors or outdoors. However you choose to host your reception, Hog Roast Tottenham have the perfect menu for you!
After always dreaming of a summer wedding, Louise finally made those dreams a reality in 2021. She and her husband Liam tied the knot in June, with a beautiful ceremony and a small and casual reception. The venue for the reception featured a boho theme, using lots of plants and flowers for decoration. For the catering, the couple had requested our Southern Slow Roast menu, followed by their wedding cake.
On the day of the reception, our Hog Roast Tottenham got to work preparing the menu. For the main course, we were providing Louisiana sticky pork ribs, BBQ pork butt, and a pulled quarter of minter lamb. Each dish was slow-roasted to perfection and coated with speciality rubs and marinades. We served the meats with our homemade condiments, as well as a selection of delicious side dishes. This included sticky sweet BBQ glaze, Cajun hot pepper sauce, mac and cheese, crunchy coleslaw, roasted new potatoes, and Greek salad. Overall this created a delicious main course and included enough elements to ensure that there was something for every guest to enjoy.
For dessert, we served the wedding cake on plates dressed in fresh berries and cream. This was an incredibly beautiful course and was the perfect way to end the meal.
